PURPOSE:To prevent dispersions from being generated in the quantity of an ink loaded into an ink duct, by inclining a discharging hole in an elastic seal body, making the ink duct abut on the seal body, and setting the total internal volume of the discharging hole to be smaller than a specified volume. CONSTITUTION:When a front end surface of an ink duct 11 is made to abut on an elastic seal body 7 and the reservoir 11 is pressed by a pressing device 8, a front end part of the duct 11 comes into the seal body 7, whereby the seal body 7 is deformed, and a discharging hole 6 therein is also deformed, with a reduction in the internal volume thereof. With the duct 11 separated from the seal body 7, the seal body 7 is restored into an original shape thereof, and the internal volume of the discharging hole 6 is enlarged. The internal volume of the hole 6 upon being reduced due to deformation of the seal body 7 is set to be smaller than the internal volume on the lower side of a horizontal plane at the lower edge position of an opening part 6a of the hole 6 is the non-deformed condition. Therefore, when the duct 11 is separated from the seal body 7, an ink remaining in the hole 6 in the state of being reduced in internal volume is entirely contained into the internal volume on the lower side of the above-mentioned horizontal platen at the lower edge position of the opening part of the hole 6 in the state of being restored in volume. |
