PURPOSE:To uniformly expand and bake dough of rice cracker, etc., by packaging the dough with a multi-layered sheet composed of a plastic film having a number of small holes and a paper or a highly water-absorbing resin while facing the plastic film inward and heating the packaged dough with microwave. CONSTITUTION:A dough of rice cracker or snack food is packaged with a multi-layered sheet A' composed of a plastic film d' having a number of small holes 1' and a paper c' or a highly water-absorbing resin b' while facing the plastic film d' inward. The packaged dough is heated with microwave to effect the expansion and baking of the dough. The excess steam generated in the packaging sheet and an oil-treating agent on the surface of the dough are passed through the small holes 1' and absorbed to or transferred through the paper c' or the highly water-absorbing resin b'.
