PURPOSE:To obtain a correcting jig which is equipped with a rotating body to be checked speedily and easily, and is capable of keeping its rotation balance at a high speed, by providing an observation hole in the top surface of a housing and a jig base. CONSTITUTION:The jig base 11 engages an upper housing 15 and a lower housing 16; the upper housing 16 has an observation hole 17, both housings have oscillation pickups 19 and 20 respectively, and the jig base 11 has an observation window 18 similar to that of the upper housing. Unbalance correction surfaces X and Y are graduated previously along the circumference of the rotating body 3 and while a strobe is put in operation, gradations are observed through the observation holes 17 and 18 to detect the direction of eccentricity of unbalance; and the oscillation pickups 19 and 20 are connected to a measuring instrument to measure the extent of the unbalance. The unbalance is corrected by removing the mass of the rotating body in the direction partially on the basis of a measured value to adjust the rotating body easily to the class G0.4 of JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) finally. To prevent disturbance due to external oscillation, the whole of the jig is fixed to a prop 23 through a helical spring 21 and a leaf spring 22. |
