PURPOSE:To obtain a printed matter having high resolution, visibility and high quality by varying the thermally softening substance layer of a lithographic material which receives a heat signal corresponding to image symbol information and corresponding oil repellent substance layer, thereby forming a lipophilic part on the surface of the material. CONSTITUTION:When a thermal head is, for example, brought into contact with or approached to the surface of an oil repellent layer 3 of a lithographic material 1 to transmit a signal corresponding to image symbol information from the head, heat arrives at a thermally softening layer 3 though the oil repellent layer, the thermally softening layer is softened or melted to be deformed by the contact pressure of the head and to be physically and/or chemically varied. As a result, the corresponding part of the layer 2 for supporting the layer 3 thereon is broken, the lipophilic part of the softened layer is exposed to form an ink receiver, and the remaining oil repellent layer becomes an ink repellent part. This pattern corresponds to the transmitted information, thereby performing a dry lithographic printing with the obtained dry lithography. Thus, the image of the ink receiver has high resolution and visibility, thereby obtaining a printed matter having high quality. |
