PURPOSE:To enable mass production of heat-resistant sarcosine oxidase N at low cost, by transformation of Escherichia Bacterium with the recombinant DNA incorporated with the heat-resistant sarcosine oxidase N gene of Bacillus Bacterium origin. CONSTITUTION:The heat-resistant sarcosine oxidase N(SON) gene of Bacillus Bacterium origin has been isolated for the first time, and the structure of said gene successfully elucidated. The amino acid sequence in the SON is given in the figure. Transformation of Escherichia Bacterium using said gene and the culture of the resultant Bacterium will result in the mass production of the SON without the need for supplying expensive creatine, creatinine, sarconsine, etc. |
