PURPOSE:To obtain a cleaning agent for molding machines, capable of extremely reducing cleaning time and cleaning resin, by adding a specific amount of water to a styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer resin having a specific melt flow rate. CONSTITUTION:A water cleaning agent which is useful for washing additives such as dye or pigment contained in a thermoplastic resin remaining in a molding machine and comprises a cleaning agent for molding machines prepared by adding 0.5-2wt.% water to a styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer resin having 1-4g/10 minutes melt flow rate (220 deg.C, 10kg) and 30-50wt.% acrylonitrile content by natural water absorption or adhesion of water by a blender. |
