PURPOSE: To temporarily change interconnection between chips by constituting this device of a coherent light exiting device, light guide, diffraction grating, and several photoelectric light receivers. CONSTITUTION: Connected laser diodes 1 and 2 emit a coherent light, and the intensity and frequency are turned into the functions of two intensities Im and Ie . Also, the frequency of the coherent light is controlled by intensity Ieo and Im , and this light is controlled by intensity Id , and binary data are transmitted. A grating 4 diffracts this light in a certain face. This face making a right angle with the lines of the grating 4 is obtained as a face passing through the axis of a guide 3 at an angle θi being the function of the wavelength λi of this light. The frequency of the light is obtained as four values corresponding to four wavelength λi (i=1-4), and deflected to four directions θi corresponding to the axis of the guide 3. Then, photodiodes 5-8 which receive a light convert the light into an electric signal expressing binary data, and output it to output terminals 15-18 corresponding to each photodiode 5-8. Thus, interconnection can be changed in a certain period. |
