The machine consists of an assembly of mechanical devices actuated simultaneously by a common axial shaft situated along the main dimension of the machine. Four aligned chambers house sub-assemblies of moving parts, which function immersed in oil. Each sub-assembly consists of an eccentric wheel acting as a cam to actuate respectively a cutting device, a stitcher and a chain-stitch sectioner. Also included are suction devices to remove residues and lateral conveyors to transport the socks along the machine, in order to facilitate sewing of the peripheral seam of the toe, eliminating noise and vibration in operation.
