The applicator is for electrophoretic and/or electro-osmotic deposition of a medicament into the blood stream through the skin. It includes multiple deposition electrodes, a battery, a number of folding members each having an electrically conducting coating on a flexible substrate, no conductor being in electrical contact with the battery and the electrodes, arrangements for passing an electric current, a cover secured with adhesive to the applicator, and a removable lining which covers and protects the medicament containers until used.
