PURPOSE:To improve initial properties and durability by adding graphite with strong anisotropy into a positive electrode plate. CONSTITUTION:Porosity of the active material is increased by adding graphite having strong anisotropy into positive electrode paste to form the positive electrode plate. The addition amount is, for example, about 1% of lead powder. Graphite with strong anisotropy is made by, for example, heating natural graphite at 2,000 deg.C. |
