摘要

PURPOSE: To simultaneously read and write by forming MS data including data stored in a magnetic domain of a record carrier from the difference of a photoelectric voltage between a first optical detector and a second optical detector and also forming PS data signals including data stored in a pit of the record carrier from the sum of the photoelectric voltage of these optical detectors. CONSTITUTION: MS data signals MS are formed from the difference of the photoelectric voltage between the first optical detector 11 and the second optical detector 17. Data stored in the magnetic domain of the record carrier 5 are included in MS data signals. Also, PS data signals PS are formed from the sum of the photoelectric voltage of the first optical detectors 11 and the second optical detector 17. Data stored in the pit of the record carrier 5 are included in PS data signals. By this way, data reading and recording are simultaneously performed.
