PURPOSE:To improve exhaust efficiency by exhausting materials to be exhausted such as gas and fume being generated through hollow parts of conical pins to hold a material to be machined from through holes at the time of laser beam machining. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam 2 of a machining head 1 is condensed by a condenser lens 3 and the condensed laser beam 4 is moved above the material 6 to be machined by moving the machining head 1 to execute cutting or boring on the material 6 to be machined. At this time, assisting gas is carried onto the same axis as the laser beam 2 to assist machining of the material 6 to be machined. At the time of machining the material 6 to be machined, although the materials A to be exhausted such as the fume and gas are generated, the materials A to be exhausted are inhaled into the hollow parts of the conical pins 100 from the through holes 101 of the conical pins 100 and exhausted outdoors from the title exhauster 8b via intermediate ducts 102. Accordingly, the exhaust efficiency is improved and in accordance with this, even the exhauster 8b with reduced size will do. |
