PURPOSE:To obtain a light source for multiplying a wave length having a stable wave length interval, by setting a multi-mode laser as a reference of a wave length and amplifying light having respective wave lengths. CONSTITUTION:A reference laser 1 oscillates multi-mode with a temperature controlled and has a stable wave length. A grating 2 separates output light of the laser 1 into respective wave lengths. A fiber 3 guides the respective wave lengths and a light amplifier 4 amplifies and outputs the light having respective wave lengths. According to this construction, a wave length interval of the output light is kept constant and it is only the reference laser that needs temperature control. Furthermore, there is a less limit in arranging the light amplifier and the apparatus can be easily constructed. |
