PURPOSE: To print CG data without increasing the number of bits for start address display of CG data by storing CG data in a ROM, which an MPU accesses, together with a control program and sending it to a RAM for CG and a print head. CONSTITUTION: When receiving an instruction from a keyboard 1, an MPU 2 generates a print parameter required for operation or a print control part 5 by the control program in a ROM 3 and writes it in a RAM 5 and starts the print control part 5. When being started, the print control part 5 reads out CG data of a RAM 6 in accordance with the print parameter in the RAM 4 and sends it to a print head 7 to print the data. With respect to CG data in the RAM 6, data preliminarily stored in the ROM 3 is transferred by the MPU 2, and a program for CG data transfer is preliminarily stored in the ROM 3, and only CG data to be used by a user is edited and is transferred to the RAM 6. |
