PURPOSE:To reduce the pitch of magnetic head core, by locating the location of gap of the head cores on two straight lines with a prescribed interval every other head core. CONSTITUTION:On the sliding surface of magnetic heads, gaps b.1-b.N of magnetic head cores a.1-a.N are located on two straight lines L, M alternately apart from a prescribed interval (e). The pitch of the cores is the sum of the space (d) for the winding and the thickness (t) of the magnetic head cores. Since the role of the magnetic shield plate can be played by parting the intervals among the magntic head cores a.1-a.N, the pitch can be reduced. |
