PURPOSE: To provide a dispensing lid of very thin thickness effective for a seal end carton by providing an inner major flap of the carton with a notch which is sized and located to receive a projecting end of a fitment therein when the carton is flat cylindrical member. CONSTITUTION: When a dispensing package 12 is to be used, the tabs 64, 65 are picked and pulled up so that they are loosened from an outer major flap 18b. A cover 48 is upwardly rotated at about 120 deg. around a hinge line 50. The ear portions 53, 54 are outwardly projected over the hinge line 50 in the closed condition, but curved on an upper face of the major flap 18b when the cover is located on 90 deg. position, and returned to the inner position of the hinge line 50 in a snap manner to fix the cover 48 in the opened condition. A point having a taper of an opening 56 is effective for properly directing the flow of products. After the dispensing is completed, the cover 48 is rotated to the close position by an user, the ear portions 53, 54 are outwardly engaged like a snap, and a closure 60 is pushed in an opening 56 of a base 46. |
