PURPOSE:To align leading ends always correctly despite the change in original sizes by selecting pinch rollers which release and restore a conveying function according to the size detection signal of originals or photosensitive paper. CONSTITUTION:A switch SWc does not go on with paper of an A4 size but goes on with paper of a B4 size and therefore the paper size is easily detected. In the case of using an original of an A4 size, the switch SWc goes off; hence, even if a photosensitive paper leading end detecting switch SW2 goes on, a solenoid SOL2 is not energized, and a pinch roller pair 25 does not space, whilist a pinch roller pair 41 spaces, thereby lowering leading end aligning pawls. In the case of using an original and photosensitive paper of a B4 size, the switch SWc closes, hence, the pinch roller pair 25 also contact and space in accordance with the operations of the leading end detecting switches SW2, SW3. |
