PURPOSE: To contact a shaving unit with the skin without excessively manipulating the wrist by providing a housing with a bearing for maintaining a first drive spindle portion at a position where the direction of its turn axial line gets out of the direction of the turn axial line of a second drive spindle portion. CONSTITUTION: This apparatus is provided with a housing 1 and a shaving head 2 arranged while being inclined with respect to the housing. The shaving head 2 is composed of a fixed shaving member 4 and a turnable turn shaving member 6 and an angle between a turn axial line 7 of the turn shaving member 6 and a lengthwise axial line 8 of the housing is defined asα. The turn shaving member 6 is coupled through a drive spindle 9 to a motor 10. This drive spindle 9 is composed of a first drive spindle portion 11 coupled to the shaving member 6 and a second drive spindle portion 12 coupled to the motor 10. The housing 1 is provided with a bearing 19, and the first drive spindle portion 11 is held at a position inclined with respect to the second drive spindle portion 12. The motor 10 is built in the housing 1 and the centroid is located in the housing so that handling can be facilitated.
