PURPOSE:To obtain high C/N by recording, reproducing and erasing information by using an optical information recording medium contg. 4 elements; Bi, Se, Ge, Sb. CONSTITUTION:The recording medium formed by incorporating the 4 elements respectively within ranges of 5-60atom.% Bi, 19-60atom.% Se, 19-60atom.% Ge, and 10-60atom.% Sn therein is used and the recording, reproducing and erasing of the information are executed by applying this recording medium to a video disk, digital audio disk, memory disk for computers, etc. The phase transition temp. can be increased by adding Ge to a thin Sb-Se-Bi film in such a manner. The increases in reproduction signal level at the ratio greater than the change ratio of the reflectivity of the conventional member is thereby obtd. and the high C/N is obtd. |
