The circuit breaker for a feeder is equipped with a thermal release by a bimetal strip (10) and a magnetic trip by a yoke (16,18), core (26), coil (22) in the casing (20) and armature (24). Both trips act on a trigger pin (28) with the drive dog (34), consisting of insulating material which is not magnegtizable but has a high impact strength; The perferred material is polyamide or polycarbonate. ADVANTAGE - Simplified trip system and low mfg. cost.
