Separated by a gap from the formwork (1) for a vertical wall is a support for a reinforcing grid with vertical wires (5) to which horizontal wires are attached. Spanning the vertical wires, and projecting beyond them are short wires (6) at right angles to the formwork, the projecting ends acting as spacers. These wires are of stainless steel, or alternatively carry spacers made of non rusting material. They can be coated with concrete or plastics material at the framework ends. The spacers may be separate blocks secured by loops to the longitudinal horizontal wires or to the upturned ends of the spacer wires (6). USE/ADVANTAGE - Particularly when used to reinforce the vertical walls of agricultural liquid storage vessels, corrosion is avoided.
