An apparatus door exhibits a seal 3 between a border strip 6, an outer door shroud 1 and an outer border of an inner door shroud 2. In order to achieve, via the seal 3, mechanical cohesion and a foam-tight termination between the outer door shroud and the inner door shroud, there is provided on the rigid-material seal foot, in the cavity 4 enclosed by the outer door shroud and the inner door shroud, on the one hand, a guide web 16 which engages behind a steeply inclined portion of the inner door shroud and, on the other hand, a hook web 18 having a hook leg 19 which engages behind the opening enclosed by the border strip 6. Moreover, the seal head encloses the outer border 12 of the inner door shroud in a positively locking manner with respect to the seal foot 7. In addition to the mechanical cohesion, the guide web and also the hook web 18 and the hook leg 19 form an additional chicane for preventing the emergence of foam when the cavity 4 is being filled with foam. <IMAGE>
