The application describes a method for germ-free air humidification in inside rooms, which is characterised in that the air which is to be humidified is first sucked through bactericidal and fungicidal chemisorption filters, and the air thus purified and free of allergens is humidified directly at the blowing-out end of the chemisorption filter by a germ-free steam jet.
