<p>PURPOSE: To enable driving having no waste of power consumption and to make an easy-to-see display by detecting infrared rays radiated by an operator by an infrared sensor and controlling the driving voltage of the liquid crystal display. CONSTITUTION: On a frame 1a equipped with an operation part 3 such as a keyboard and the liquid crystal display 4, infrared sensors 5-9 are arrayed at part of the frame body 1a so as to detect infrared rays radiated by the operator 2, and the driving voltage of the liquid crystal display 4 is controlled by a voltage control means 10 according to the detection output. Consequently, the liquid crystal display 4 is driven with the driving voltage matching the position of the operator 2 to eliminate a waste of the power consumption and make an invariably easy-to-see display.</p> |
