<p>A molded solid body of incinerated waste material and a method of making the same, comprising mixing ash-like incinerated waste material with solidifiable molten plastic waste material and extruding the mixture to form a solid composite body. The extruded solid body is dense and rigid, having a high specific gravity so that it can consistently remain at a particular location when disposed of in the sea without causing pollution and also may be used as a structural material for concrete and asphalt constructions. According to the method of making the solid body, two kinds of waste materials are processed at one time and reduced in volume to in the range of 1/10 to 1/20 of their original volume enabling greater transportation and disposal efficiency.</p> |
