PURPOSE:To obtain a yellow toner which has sufficient light transparency and distinct colors even when transferred to a light transparent sheet by incorporating a polymer produced by bringing the chain micromolecule having a reactive substituent in the side chain and a specific rhodanine deriv. into reaction as a coloring component into the toner. CONSTITUTION:The polymer produced by bringing the chain macromolecule having the reactive substituent in the side chain and the rhodanine deriv. expressed by formula I into reaction is incorporated as the coloring component into the light transmission type yellow toner. In formula I, B denotes the substituent having reactivity; C denotes a divalent org. group; R1 denotes an alkyl group of 1-6C, hydroxyl group; P denotes 0 or 1. If the polymer having such rhodanine deriv. in the side chain is used, the polymer itself is the yellow polymer having excellent light transparency and, therefore, the toner of the light transmission type is obtained by merely granulating the polymer. The yellow toner of the distinct color having the excellent light transparency is thereby obtd. by transferring the developed image onto the light transparent sheet. |
