<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the crosstalk, to simplify a structure and the production, and to obtain a high yield by providing an electrode on each of two substrates and providing one electrode with a superconductor. CONSTITUTION:A superconductor 10 is fixed to one of electrodes 4 and 8 provided on substrates 2 of a display panel 1, and a display driving matrix electrode 3 is provided in the vicinity of the superconductor 10. Consequently, a magnetic field stronger than the critical magnetic field by which the superconductor 10 is not in the superconductive state is generated at intersections of the display driving matrix electrode 3 to break the superconductive state of the superconductor 10, and thereby, the superconductor 10 becomes a resistor not to apply a voltage to a display medium 16. Meanwhile, the magnetic field generated from intersections of the display driving matrix electrode 3 is made weaker than the critical magnetic field to set the superconductor 10 to the superconductive state, and thereby, the resistance of the superconductor 10 becomes zero to apply a voltage to the display medium 16. Thus, the crosstalk is eliminated, and the structure and the production are simplified, and a high yield is obtained.</p> |
