PURPOSE:To obtain an image processor in which economization of memory area is accomplished by obtaining a copy image in which a desired color image is regenerated by storing a correcting function for use in producing a look-up table, calling the correcting function as required, and referring to the look-up table. CONSTITUTION:When a print switch is switched on, a control device executes a command and allows original image information transferred in the form a RGB signals to be sent to a frame memory 10 from a CG device via a connection cable 6 so as to be stored in predetermined addresses in order. The control device then reads out the correcting function stored in a coefficient queue 16 and the original image information stored in the frame memory 10, and allows a computer 18 to produce a look-up table in which the original image information functions as an address. Thus, every time the print switch is switched on, look-up tables are produced, and this serves to economize the necessary memory area in a case where a plurality of look-up tables must be stored. |
