摘要 PURPOSE:To make it possible to reduce a sensitivity difference between photodiodes for a subject in any shape, by using a rectangular photodiode and by shaping a sensitive part thereof to be wider in the opposite-end part than in the central part. CONSTITUTION:A photodiode array 8 is formed by arranging a plurality of photodiodes 8A in the shape of an array on a wiring board 6. The photodiode 8A is fixed on the wiring board 6 and an output thereof is taken out from a terminal 4 through a wiring 3 and a bonding wire 4A. In the photodiode 8A, a frame-shaped nonsensitive part 2 is provided in the periphery of a sensitive part 1 detecting light by printing resin not transmitting the light of a chip or the diode or other means. The shape of this nonsensitive part 2 is formed so that an end part in the direction of a slice width of the sensitive part 1 of the photodiode 8A is wider than the central part thereof. According to this constitution, the sensitivity distribution in the direction of the slice width of an output of the photodiode 8 has a characteristic of being larger in the opposite-end part, and this makes it possible to smooth the distribution in the direction of the slice width of a signal output of the title device in the case when it is combined with a radiation scintillator.
