Folding door with a support frame and an elastic panel (2) fixed therein, where at least one folding zone is provided on the horizontal strut (1, 1') of the frame, where the elastic panel (2) is made of a single piece and exhibits a vertical flexing area (5) with an increased bending elasticity in the vicinity of the folding zone (4), characterized in that the door activator comprises a rotating motor which has a vertical axis shifted with respect to the plane of the door and which is positioned above the sweeping arc of the folding door, where this motor urges a swinging arm (13), the sweeping end of which is slindingly engaged in a rail (14) running longitudinally along the upper, horizontal strut of the frame of the inner panel of the door in order to swing the same, where, in its two end positions, the swinging arm (13) is essentially normal to the surface of the frame. |
