PURPOSE:To improve graininess of a silver halide color reversal sensitive material and to increase its sensitivity by providing a photosensitive silver halide photographic layer contg. a specified amt. of AgI on a base body, wherein at least one emulsion layer of the photographic layers is constituted of >=two kinds of emulsion consisting of particles having a mean particle size within a specified range. CONSTITUTION:The title material is constituted of a photosensitive silver halide photographic layer comprising photosensitive silver halide emulsion having <7.0mol.% mean AgI content on a base body, wherein at least one emulsion layer of the photographic layers consists of >=two kinds of emulsion having different particle sizes within a range of 0.05-3.0mu. There are >=two maxima in a particle size distribution curve of the silver halide particles, wherein difference between the particle size at the smallest maximum of the particle size and that at the next smallest maximum of the particle size is >=0.1mu, among each maximum. At least one kind of coupler, development accelerator, or a solvent for silver halide or a compd. liberating its precursor, is contained in the emulsion layer and/or in its adjacent intermediate layer, depending on the amt. of silver to be developed generated by an oxidation-reduction reaction or reactions succeeding thereto with a reaction product, with a developing agent. Thus, the title material having highly increased sensitivity and graininess is obtd. |
