The invention relates to a self-securing screw for screw connections, which is subjected to translatory and rotary external dynamic loadings and can be used, in particular, for head-bearing means of hexagon head screws, hexagon head screws with pressed-on washer and cylinder head screws. The essential features of the invention consist in the fact that securing elements, which are distributed uniformly or non-uniformly on the bearing surface of the screw and comprise one or more depressions or elevations of any cross-section, are present as a continuous or interrupted line progression with at least three corner points and run such that they are straight or follow any curve. The invention is also characterised by at least two mutually opposite, linear, straight or curved depressions or elevations which run parallel or obliquely with respect to one another and are of any cross-section. <IMAGE>
