PURPOSE:To obtain laser oscillation having excellent efficiency by giving the solvent of a laser pigment solution value equal to a light-transmitting vessel or a refractive index close to the value. CONSTITUTION:The specular surfaces 6, 7 of a pair of opposite reflectors 3, 4 are arranged in a mutually parallel face. The solvent of the laser pigment solution 1 encased into the light-transmitting vessel 2 is given value equal to the vessel 2 or the refractive index close to the value. Laser beams projected into the wall plates 8, 9 of the vessel 2 from a light source 5 for excitation are not refracted substantially in the interface that the inner surfaces of the plates 8, 9 and the solution 1 form, and substantially follow no reflection in these interface. Accordingly, laser oscillation having remarkably excellent efficiency is obtained. |
