<p>PURPOSE:To enable a plunger to be self-held in suction state at stroke end, by delaying working speed in either suction or anti-suction of the plunger. CONSTITUTION:During suction action of a plunger 3, a check valve 12 is released, and the air within a plunger sliding space A is immediately discharged from a large air hole 10 to the outside, and thereby the suction action of the plunger 3 is rapidly performed. On the other hand, during anti-suction action of the plunger 3, external air is introduced little by little from a small air hole 9 into the plunger sliding space A, and thereby return action of the plunger 3 is slowly performed. At this time, the check valve 12 is closed, and thereby passage of air through the large air hole 10 is blocked. When the plunger 3 reaches stroke end, even if current flow through a magnetic coil 2 is interrupted, both the plunger 3 and a fixed iron core 4 form a part of a magnetic path of a permanent magnet 16 in a body, and therefore this solenoid is self-held.</p> |
