PURPOSE:To make a latent heat storage material to receive solar heat effectively and to store it by a method wherein a plurality of columnar vessels are arranged parallel to one another and each of the vessels are made rotatable about the axis thereof. CONSTITUTION:The columnar vessels 1 are arranged horizontally and parallel to one another and the latent heat storage material 2 consisting of CaCl2.6H2O is put into each of the vessels 1. Further, a frame member 3 is formed of cross frames 3a and vertical frames 3b and a shaft 4 extending from both circular end surfaces 1a of each of the vessels 1 is rotatably supported by vertical frame 3b. With the above structure, when the heater receives the sunlight, the vessels 1 are rotated gradually and the entire surfaces of the vessels 1 face the sunlight so that the latent heat storage material 2 is dissolved and the amount of heat stored by each vessel increases. |
