PURPOSE: To eliminate the down of the device to improve the operation efficiency by preventing confusion of the possession of paper money not to make the following processing complicated at the time when paper money is recovered in the case of a discharge error or a failure in taking-out. CONSTITUTION: A defective paper money recovery box 47 where worn-out paper money is recovered is provided in the upper part of the device, and a recovery box 48 where paper money which is forgotton to be taken out or brings out a discharge error is recovered is provided near a paper money taking-out hole 41. Paper money which is forgotton to be taken out or paper money which brings about a discharge error is recovered in the recovery box 48 if this box 48 is empty, and distinction of the former paper money or the latter is stored in a storage means. When paper money which brings about a discharge error is recovered, recovery of only paper money which brings about discharge errors is permitted thereafter; and when paper money which is forgotton to be taken out is recovered, following paper money recovery is inhibited. Consequently, paper money of plural owners is not mixed not to make the following processing complicated. Thus, the down of the device is prevented. |
