PURPOSE:To improve a productivity greatly, by making from one aluminum wire two electrode terminals each of which have a contact member, the aluminum wire pressed into a sheet being cut along a center line into two parts and formed into flat electrodes (electrode terminals) to be connected to capacitor elements. CONSTITUTION:An aluminum wire with a circle section 1 is attached with cap-shaped conductive contact members 2 on both ends 11, by welding or calking. The aluminum wire between the contact members 2 is expanded into a sheet by presses 5 to make a flat section 3. After unnecessary portions 4 of the fringe of the flat section 3 is cut away along cutting lines C1, C1 the flat section is cut along the center line C to form flat electrodes 6 to be connected to capacitor elements. Each flat electrode 6 is used as an electrode terminal 7 with a contact member. Between the flat electrode 6 and a cylindrical portion 12 which serves as an electrode lead having a contact member 2, a tapered portion 13 is formed. The flat electrode 6 is gained after cutting the uniform-thickness portion of the flat section 3 into a rectangle. |
