PURPOSE:To decrease height of a spring so as to promote the compactness by constituting a spring assembly, provided between two or more parts in a strut, turnably connecting both end parts of each upper and bottom leaf spring mutually in the vertical direction by a pivotally mounting means. CONSTITUTION:A strut 2 in a suspension device 1 provides the first part 3 of cylinder shape and the second part 4 of piston shape. The first part 3 provides a hub carrier 6, further it fixes a hub of a wheel 7 while rotatably supports a lower arm 9. While between each part 3, 4, a spring assembly 21 is provided through a bracket 8 and an upper seat 19. In this constitution, the spring assembly 21 is constituted turnably connecting both end parts of each upper and bottom fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) made leaf spring 22, 23 mutually in the vertical direction respectively by each metallic hinge 25, 26. |
