PURPOSE:To enable a dead angle in a direction change side to be well covered by constituting a device closing a switch in a mirror driving electric circuit in accordance with controlling a direction indicator lever so as to enable a mirror to be turned in the direction change side against a reset spring by a predetermined amount. CONSTITUTION:When a direction indicator lever 3 is controlled, for instance, to a left turn side (to the bottom), a magnetic proximity switch 6a is turned on by a permanent magnet 4 on a permanent magnet supporting bed 5 secured in the vicinity of supporting part of this lever 3, and actuating a driving circuit receiving supply of power from a power source, an electric current is conducted in a rotary solenoid 15a. Then by excitation of this rotary solenoid 15a, a sheave 19, mounted to a rotary shaft of the solenoid, rotates, and a flexible steel wire 20 is pulled against a mirror reset spring 18. Consequently, a turn plate 16 is turned about a hinge 17, and a mirror 8 is turned to the right side. A vehicle finishes changing its direction, when the rotary solenoid 15a is demagnetized, the mirror 8 is reset to the original position by tension of the reset spring 18. |
