<p>A binding apparatus with a tape (T) in which the tip of a heat-bonding tape reeled out from a reel is rotated substantially by one revolution to form a tape loop, the tape (T) is further reeled out from the reel to enlarge the loop in size, an article to be bound is inserted into the loop, the tape is reeled in such that the tape is wound round the article to be bound, the tip of the tape where the tape starts winding and the end thereof, where the winding terminates, are heated and bonded to each other as pressurized by pressurizing and heating means (5), and the tape is cut at its predetermined portion. Until the tape bonded portion is cooled to complete or substantially complete the bonding after the pressurizing and heating means (5) has been separated from the tape (T), the tape bonded portion is still continuously pressed to prevent the bonded surfaces of the tape (T) from coming off from each other, assuring reliable binding.</p> |
