摘要 |
PURPOSE:To obtain a superconducting element having improved superconducting characteristics, especially increased critical current density by molding and sintering secondary particles of an oxide superconductor having a specified particle size distribution and by heat treating the sintered body in an oxygen atmosphere to introduce oxygen. CONSTITUTION:Secondary particles of an oxide superconductor having a particle size distribution in which at least 60% of the particles are within the particle size range of 10-20mum and the median diameter (D50) is 13-16mum are molded to a prescribed shape and sintered and the sintered body is heat treated in an oxygen atmosphere to introduce oxygen. The oxide superconductor is preferably a perovskite type oxide superconductor contg. a rare earth element and having a high critical temp. from the viewpoint of practical use. |
