<p>PURPOSE: To change a tool head with a simple operation by forming a screw thread in the end of a bolt that supports the tool head and a conical member and providing a means to apply the angular moment of transmitted axial pressure to the other bolt end. CONSTITUTION: When a bolt 8 is screwed into a screw hole 4 in a tool shaft 1, a conical member 6 forming a cone frictional coupling is moved axially together with the bolt 8 and is tightened there for later polishing, cutting or the like. When the bolt 8 is unscrewed reversely, the conical member 6 is moved together with the bolt 8 in the direction opposite to that when tightened and is loosened so that the bolt 8 can be disengaged from the screw hole 4 in the tool shaft 1 for removal and exchange of a tool head 5. This enables the tool head 5 to be changed with ease or in a simple operation.</p> |
