PURPOSE:To vary the quantity of hot water in accordance with the user's preference and obtain a favorable massaging effect, by varying with time the quantity of hot water tapped from a hot water supplying device. CONSTITUTION:A valve seat is constituted of a water passage part 11, a rotary valve 12 and a valve. The rotary valve 12 is provided with a slit, and the passage area is varied by rotating the valve 12. Water passed into a water quantity controlling valve 5 flows into a heat exchanger 1 through the valve 12, is heated, and is supplied to the exterior through a hot water tapping pipe 7. A flow switch is operated by the flow of water to start combustion in a heater 2, whereby water temperature is raised, and the hot water temperature is stabilized with the lapse of some period of time. Thereafter, when a switch 9 is turned ON, a signal generator 8 outputs a signal, which is transmitted to a driving part 6 to rotate the valve 12 forwardly or reversely, whereby the passage area of the valve 12 is varied, and the quantity of water is changed. Therefore, the quantity of water can be successively varied by the signal from the signal generator 8. Accordingly, since the quantity of water is successively varied, when hot water is used for a shower, it produces a pleasant stimulus and a massaging effect for the user. |
