PURPOSE:To obtain an oxide superconducting material having high critical electric current and critical magnetic field by providing a specified compsn. consisting of Nd, Ba, Cu and O. CONSTITUTION:This oxide superconducting material has an oxide compsn. contg. neodymium, barium and copper and represented by the formula [where 0.95<=Y<=1.05, 0.2<=X<=0.5 and 6.5<=delta<=7.1 (delta is decided according to X and Y)]. Since BaCuO2 does not deposit on the grain boundary of the superconducting material and the oxide represented by the formula is present as a single phase, the superconducting material has the advantages of high critical electric current and critical magnetic field at 77K. |
