PURPOSE:To enable inexpensive and sure titled resistance welding with high productivity and excellent appearance by interposing a metallic plate having flanges at both ends in the butt parts of both laminated plates with the flanges brought adequately into contact with the metallic plates on the top and bottom of both laminated plates. CONSTITUTION:A metallic plate 9 having flanges 9a, 9b at both top and bottom ends is grasped in the butt parts of both laminated plates 7, 8 formed by interposing insulating layers 7c and 8c consisting of nonconductive materials respectively between two sheets of metallic plates 7a, 7b and 8a, 8b. Said plate is grasped in such a way that the upper flange 9a contacts the upper plate 8a of the plate 8 and the lower flange 9b contacts with the lower plate 7b of the plate 7. The upper and lower plates 7a and 7b as well as 8a and 8b of the plates 7, 8 are made to conducting state by the plate 9 in the above-mentioned state. If electrodes 10, 11 for seam welding are disposed on the plate 9 and electricity is conducted under pressure, the resistance welding by the butt joint of the plates 7, 8 is made possible at an optional length. |
