PURPOSE:To prevent a large force from being applied to a vessel and a heat exchanger upon a phase conversion and to improve the heat transfer characteristic and compactness of the device by filling clearances of fins of a heat exchanger with capsules. CONSTITUTION:In the case of storing a cool heat, a pipeline for a coolant 1 passes a coolant cooled by a freezer. Therefore, a latent heat storage material for storing cool heat packed in capsules filled between fins 9 of a heat exchanger 2 and a fluid flowing through clearances between capsules, are cooled by fins 9. Said fluid is circulated by means of a pump 4, and a fluid having a coagulating point which is lower than that of the latent heat storage material is employed. As a result, it is possible to efficiently cool the liquid flowing between the capsules, and capsules filled in clearances of fins are cooled by the fluid, the latent heat storage material causes a phase conversion to conduct storage of heat. Accordingly, the heat transfer characteristic when the heat is stored in the latent heat storage material is improved, energy efficiency is also improved, the device is made compact and cost for the manufacture of the device is reduced. At the same time, even if an expansion or a contraction takes place, it is possible to prevent a large force from being applied to the heat exchanger or the vessel. |
