PURPOSE: To obtain a vaccine containing a tumor antigen, a purified inactive endotoxin immunity accelerating agent and a bacterial immunity accelerating agent, and useful for the treatment and prevention of tumor. CONSTITUTION: This vaccine contains (A) a tumor associated antigen, (B) a purified inactive endotoxin immunostimulating factor, e.g. a lipid A monophosphate not at all containing 2-keto-3-deoxyoctanoic acid detected by 350-495nmol per 1mg phosphorus and 1700-2000nmol per 1mg fatty acid, (C) a biological immunostimulating factor selected form C1 : a mycobacterium cell wall skeleton, C2 : trehalose or dimycolic acid and C3 : a pyrridine soluble extract of a microorganism (e.g.; containing 7-20wt.% protein, 10-16wt.% saccharide and 35-55wt.% fatty acid) and (D) a medicinally permissible carrier.
