PURPOSE:To obtain a conductive film which presents a good outgassing characteristic and does not cause any deterioration of the characteristics of a cathode- ray tube and from which little graphite particles are separated by applying at least two kinds of graphite particles having different grain sizes in a required mixing ratio. CONSTITUTION:After the inner surface of a funnel 1 is washed and dried, conductive application liquids (A) and (B) containing graphite particles with different grain sizes are simultaneously sprayed on and applied to the inner surface by means of spray guns 2 in such a manner that a necessary ratio of the liquid (A) to the liquid (B) applied is obtained. An appropriate mixing ratio can be easily achieved by changing the amounts of the liquids (A) and (B) sprayed from the spray guns 2. By the means mentioned above, graphite particles can be easily controlled and homogeneously dispersed. As a result, a conductive film formed on the inner surface of the funnel 1 in prescribed form presents a good outgassing characteristic and a high adhesive strength, thereby enabling the conductive film to have sufficient necessary functions. |
