The circuit provides the functions of timer and clock to the shift registor in the beat serial type calculator. The circuit comprises a QTM registor (10) determining instruction, a QM registor (20), a comparator (30) comparing the outputs of QTM and QM registor at every instruction excutions, a key jumper circuit (50) and a carry generating units (100, 200), blanking circuits (500,600,700), and a display registor circuit.
