PURPOSE: To prevent a user from feeling electric shock and to enhance the safety with respect to burning by manufacturing a grip part made of a conductive fiber material and a resin base material which are mixed at a specific ratio, the tip ends of the conductive fiber material which are projected into the atmosphere. CONSTITUTION: A molding resin material which is a mixture of 0.01 to 40 wt.% of a conductive fiber material having a fiber diameter less than 60 μm and 60 to 99.99 wt.% of a resin base material, is press-molded in a cavity defined in molding dies, which are closed gripping a knob body 2 so as to mold a grip part 1 around the knob body 2. Then, the knob body 2 is taken out of the molding dies, and the grip part 1 is polished so that the conductive fiber material is exposed from the outer surface of the resin base material 7. Thus, the manufacturing of a knob 10 is completed. With this arrangement, gaseous- discharge of static electricity is induced from the tips end of the conductive fiber material 6 under self-discharge action by corona discharge, which is caused when the conductive fiber material makes contact with an charged body, thereby it is possible to reduce the electric charges. |
